If it hasn’t been stated enough, this month has been crazy busy! I’ve been meaning to post, but I’ve also been distracted by prepping for NaNoWriMo and just living life in general. But I wanted to make this weekly update so you wouldn’t think I’ve fallen off the face of the earth.
So I’m prepping for NaNo. I’ll talk all about it in the days to come, but I’ve been trying to make sure I know what I want to do with my novel before I give you advice on writing your own for this challenge. If you’ve never done NaNo before, don’t worry, I’ll go over everything you need to know. And in the end the decision is yours on whether you want to do it or not. My plan right now is to finish this week with a clear verdict on which of the many novel ideas I want to run with for NaNo.
As for Clara and Claire, it looks like I’ll be getting the book back sometime this week. I have content editing to do, and then once it’s done and I’ve read through the book again, I’ll be preparing it for release. I already have the cover, but I need to figure out the interior formatting and also get the ebook version ready as well. Once I’m done with edits and start working toward release I can give a better estimate for the release date. It might be before February if everything works out.
I’m moving to Texas in two weeks, and I’m sure with the move and settling in I’ll be extremely busy and overwhelmed. So I’m going to get as much editing done before I go and then maybe prepare release or just write on the trip there. From the sounds of it, I don’t have a massive amount of editing to do on Clara and Claire, so I might be able to finish before we actually move if I really focus.
That’s pretty much everything as far as what’s happening as we approach the end of this month. I promise to post more as soon as I have my NaNo novel picked out or once I start editing again.
